The Millennium: The Thousand-Year Reign of Christ

The Millennium: The Thousand-Year Reign of Christ
(From the teaching of David Jeremiah)

Hello friends,

Before looking at the Scriptures, it helps to begin with a clear definition.

The Millennium refers to the literal one-thousand-year reign of Jesus Christ on the earth following His Second Coming. During this time, Christ will rule the nations in righteousness, peace, and justice, fulfilling God’s promises spoken through the prophets. Satan will be bound, evil restrained, and the authority of King Jesus will be fully visible on the earth. Continue reading “The Millennium: The Thousand-Year Reign of Christ”

Rapture vs. Second Coming: Two Distinct Events

Rapture vs. Second Coming: Two Distinct Events
(Shared from Mary Hawkins Banes – “The Rapture Is Very Soon”)

Hello friends,

There is often confusion in the body of Christ regarding the Rapture and the Second Coming of Jesus. Scripture, however, presents these as two distinct events, each with a different purpose and outcome.

The Rapture is the rescue of the true Church—caught up to be with Christ. Continue reading “Rapture vs. Second Coming: Two Distinct Events”

Bodies in Heaven: What Can We Learn from the Rich Man and Lazarus?

Bodies in Heaven
What Can We Learn from the Rich Man and Lazarus?
(From Heaven by Randy Alcorn)

Hello friends,

One of the most thought-provoking passages Jesus ever taught is the account of the rich man and Lazarus in Luke 16:19–31. In this account, Jesus describes people who have died as having awareness, memory, identity, and even physical properties. Consider the Rapture

Consider the Rapture

Hello friends,

It begins with the rapture—an event that can happen at any moment.

When you truly consider how sudden and final this event will be, it has a way of snapping you into alert mode. It sifts through a lot of temporal thoughts, plans, and distractions very quickly. If you live with the awareness that the whole world could change in an instant—and that life as we know it would never be the same—it has a way of making you a serious thinker almost immediately.

Imagine that tomorrow you will not be here on earth, but instead, you will be in heaven. Continue reading “Consider the Rapture”

The Rapture: I Think My Granny Is Getting Dressed for the Trip Back

Granny went to Heaven many years ago, but I Think My Granny Is Getting Dressed for the Trip Back!

I don’t want us to be ignorant concerning those who have fallen asleep, or to grieve like those who have no hope.

“For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.”
— 1 Thessalonians 4:13–14 Continue reading “The Rapture: I Think My Granny Is Getting Dressed for the Trip Back”

On Rejection: Breaking Agreement and Walking Free

On Rejection
(Shared — Jennifer Eivaz)

Hello friends,

I want to share something that speaks directly to a struggle many believers—especially prophets—face at different seasons of life: rejection.

Jennifer Eivaz makes a strong and necessary point when she says that many prophets need deliverance from rejection at certain points in their journey. This isn’t just about a bad attitude or Continue reading “On Rejection: Breaking Agreement and Walking Free”

When Accusations Fill the Air

When Accusations Fill the Air

Hello friends,

I just wanted to share a few thoughts.

My heart goes out to all those affected and influenced by the wave of accusations against ministries being named and highlighted in the media. Do I believe God is cleaning His house? Yes, I do. Do I believe it is God’s will for it to be aired out in the media? No, I don’t. But that is what is happening. Continue reading “When Accusations Fill the Air”
