Faith in the Devil
Right now, there are believers who are coming to a decisive place. They are saying, “I’m done with sickness and disease. I am finished living under the dominion—the control—of the enemy’s plans and schemes for my life.”
They are choosing freedom. They are declaring deliverance from the kingdom of darkness and acknowledging their translation into the Kingdom of God and His ways.
And almost immediately, voices rise up to warn them.
“You’re asking for trouble,” they say. “You’re going to draw attention to yourself. The enemy will see you. He’ll target you. He’ll mark you and take you out.”
Statements like that reveal something important.
Those words do not come from faith in God. They come from faith in the devil.
They assume the enemy has more power to destroy than God has to protect. They place greater confidence in Satan’s ability to attack than in God’s ability to keep, cover, and sustain.
But Scripture does not teach us to fear the enemy’s attention. It teaches us to stand in the finished work of Christ. We are not kept by silence or caution. We are kept by covenant.
Freedom is not dangerous. Truth is not reckless. Obedience is not an invitation to defeat.
God did not deliver us so that we could tiptoe in fear. He delivered us so that we could walk in confidence, knowing that He who began a good work is faithful to complete it.
We are not marked for destruction. We are sealed for redemption.
Choose carefully what you place your faith in. Faith in God produces peace, boldness, and freedom. Faith in the enemy produces fear, hesitation, and retreat.
Stand firm. Trust God. And refuse to give the devil credit for what only God can do.
