THEY WILL COME: FAITH, ANOINTING, AND THE
CALL TO GATHER
I. The Pattern of Power Throughout Church History
Throughout church history, God has always reserved a remnant–a people who walk in His power. In seasons of revival like Azusa Street or the Welsh Revival, it wasn’t the crowd who
led the move of God, but the consecrated. Religion often sought to contain or control the
move, but the Spirit finds hungry hearts. (Romans 11:5)
II. The Danger of Powerless Religion
2 Timothy 3:5 warns of people ‘having a form of godliness but denying its power.’ In modern times, this form often looks like sanitized church services void of the supernatural. True Christianity must not only look like Jesus–it must move like Jesus.
III. The Call to Faith and Anointing Over Advertising
John 6:44 says no one can come unless the Father draws them. This means our call isn’t to sell the Gospel, but to release it in faith. Keith Moore once declared, ‘Say, come to my
place!’–believing God would send the people. Faith draws. The anointing draws. Prophetic declarations like Isaiah 55:11 ensure His Word will not return void.
IV. How to Stand Shoulder to Shoulder With Others
You are not alone. Like Ezekiel’s valley of dry bones, God is assembling an army. There are ministers online right now–hidden, faithful, and bold–who are your co-laborers. (1Corinthians 3:6-9) You’re not competing for visibility; you’re linking arms for a harvest.
V. Declare: Come!
You carry Heaven’s echo: ‘Come!’ The Spirit and the Bride say come (Revelation 22:17). It’s time to prophesy into the spirit realm–believing people will hear, respond, and gather.
Matthew 22:9 reminds us to go to the highways and compel them. Faith doesn’t wait for a crowd; it prepares for one.
VI. Encouragement for the Discouraged Minister
You may not see the numbers yet–but God sees your obedience. Galatians 6:9 tells us not to grow weary. If you’ve been hidden, it’s because God has been preserving the oil. He will breathe on what you’ve built in faith. Stay faithful–your time of increase is coming.
Point to Ponder:
Have I been waiting for the people before I started building? Or am I willing to build by faith and trust God to send those who are hungry?
Declaration:
Father, I believe You are gathering a people, not to my name but to Your glory. I declare in faith: Come! Come from the north, the south, the east, and the west. Come hungry, come
broken, come chosen. I open my mouth to speak Your Word, and I trust that Your Spirit will draw every soul You’ve assigned to this message. I will not grow weary–I will build, I will
preach, and I will carry Your anointing with joy. In Jesus’ name, amen.
