Deuteronomy 8:18

“But you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power (koach) to get wealth (chayil), that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.” (NKJV)

Word Study
• Koach (כֹּחַ) = strength, ability, capacity, might.
→ God gives you the inner power — health, ideas, wisdom, creativity, favor, stamina, open doors.
• Chayil (חַיִל) = wealth, resources, valor, army, strength, virtue.
→ The result of that power. Wealth is more than money — it’s substance, influence, reputation, provision, even valor and excellence.

Together: God gives you ability (koach) → to produce resources and strength (chayil) → for His covenant purposes.

• Don’t say, “My power and the might of my hand gained me this wealth” (v.17).

Father, I thank You that I am surrounded with Your favor as a shield today (Psalm 5:12).

Your favor opens doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8), brings me promotion like Joseph (Genesis 39:21), and gives me protection in every place I go (Psalm 91:11).

I declare that Your favor goes before me and prepares the way. People are drawn to bless me, help me, and work with me.

I have favor with God and man (Proverbs 3:4; Luke 2:52).

Today, I walk in the blessing, protection, and opportunities of divine favor.

No weapon formed against me will prosper, because Your favor works for me in every situation (Isaiah 54:17).

Thank You, Lord, for surrounding me with favor and causing me to succeed in all I set my hands to do, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Crossing on the Stones — The Highway of Holiness

Scripture Focus

Isaiah 35:8 (NKJV)

“A highway shall be there, and a road,

And it shall be called the Highway of Holiness.

The unclean shall not pass over it,

But it shall be for others.

Whoever walks the road, although a fool,

Shall not go astray.”

1 Corinthians 2:14 (NKJV)

“But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”

Psalm 25:14 (NKJV)

“The secret of the LORD is with those who fear Him,

And He will show them His covenant.”

Prophetic Insight

In the Spirit, you saw a wide, flowing river, with large stones placed in a path across it. The river represents the separation between where you are and where God is calling you. The stones are truths — covenant promises and divine revelations — placed by God Himself.

The Lord showed you that only those with covenant relationship and revelation knowledge could cross to the other side. Others, though they may see the river and the stones, would never make it — for the path is hidden in plain sight. It can only be walked by faith, not by human reasoning.

This is the Highway of Holiness. It’s not a physical road but a spiritual one. It cannot be bought, bargained for, or faked. Only those washed, redeemed, and walking in step with the Spirit can travel it. Even a child in faith can walk this path, but the proud in heart cannot step onto it.

Keys for Crossing

  1. Covenant Identity – Know who you are in Christ. Your confidence comes from the blood-bought promises of God.
  2. Revelation Knowledge – Allow the Holy Spirit to illuminate His Word so each stone beneath your feet is firm and sure.
  3. Holiness & Obedience – The Highway of Holiness is not for the double-minded. Surrender keeps you steady.
  4. Faith Over Sight – The stones may seem too far apart in the natural, but by faith you will find them solid underfoot.

Prayer Suggestion

Father, I thank You for the Highway of Holiness. Thank You for the covenant stones You have placed before me — each one a promise, a revelation, a truth that will bear my weight as I walk in faith. I declare that I will cross over to the other side, led by Your Spirit, protected by Your covenant, and sustained by Your Word. No fear, no doubt, and no enemy will stop me. I am walking forward into everything You have promised, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
