God is Your Refuge

🔹God Is Your Refuge

When fear comes, run into Him.

There are moments in life when fear hits hard and fast—

When the news shakes you, your body fails you, or the people you counted on disappear.

In those moments, you don’t need a cliché or a quick fix.

You need a refuge.

And not just any refuge—you need God Himself.

“God is our refuge and strength,

A very present help in trouble.”

— Psalm 46:1

🕊️ What Does It Mean That God Is Your Refuge?

It means that you’re not left to figure it out on your own.

It means that when chaos surrounds you, He surrounds you more.

It means you have a safe place to run, to rest, and to heal—without shame or pressure.

Being in Christ means you are never without shelter, even in the storm.

“You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble…”

— Psalm 32:7

🛐 Prayer: When You Need to Hide in Him

Father, I run to You.

You are my refuge. You are my shelter.

When fear tries to overtake me, I will hide myself in Your Word and in Your love.

I don’t have to understand everything—I just need to stay close to You.

Be my fortress.

Cover my mind, my emotions, my body, and my future.

I trust that I’m safe—not because everything makes sense, but because You are near.

In Jesus’ name, amen.

📖 Declare This Over Yourself:

🗣️ “God is with me. I am not alone.”

🗣️ “He is my strength and my stronghold.”

🗣️ “I will not be shaken.”

🗣️ “His peace surrounds my heart and mind.”
