Our Lives: Check, Double-Check

Our Lives: Check, Double-Check

Everyone pauses at some point during the day to check in on their lives. We evaluate where we are and where we’re going—sometimes consciously, sometimes simply out of habit.

For the Christian, this often looks like holding one’s life up before the Lord and asking, “How am I doing, Lord?” or “What’s next? What should I do now?” Continue reading “Our Lives: Check, Double-Check”

📌When Psychology Helps… but the Holy Spirit Heals

There is a growing hunger today for emotional clarity, healing, and understanding. Many believers quietly follow online mental-health voices, trying to make sense of what they feel. And some of these voices offer something valuable: vocabulary. They help people name the hurt, recognize patterns, and understand the behavior of others. In a world full of confusion, that can feel like a lifeline. Continue reading

Bitterness:. Don’t Let it Get In You

Scripture:

Hebrews 12:15 (NKJV)

“Looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled.”

There are seasons where you give your best—show up early, carry more than your share, even lead with integrity—and still, you’re passed over. Someone less qualified gets the credit. Someone else is promoted. You’re told you’re not strong enough, not capable, or simply not the one.

Sensitivity versus Oblivious

Why Are Some Christians So Sensitive… and Others So Oblivious?

“Finally, all of you be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble.”

—1 Peter 3:8 (NIV)

In any congregation or ministry circle, you’ll find a strange contrast: some believers carry deep sensitivity—quick to notice pain, alert to spiritual shifts, and moved with compassion. Others, while still faithful, seem unaware of the burdens others carry, walking past wounded souls without much notice. Continue reading “Sensitivity versus Oblivious”

The Day I Felt Forgotten

📘 The Day I Felt Forgotten

There was a moment not long ago when I sat quietly in a room full of noise, and still felt invisible. Conversations carried on around me. Needs were being met, prayers answered, doors opened—for others.

And I thought, Did You forget me, Lord?

I didn’t say it out loud. I didn’t even dare pray it. But the ache was there… and God answered it.

That night, as I lay in bed trying to silence the hum of discouragement, the Holy Spirit whispered so gently:

“I have engraved you on the palms of My hands.”

—Isaiah 49:16

I wept. Not because I was in pain anymore, but because I’d been seen. Not overlooked. Not dismissed. Not forgotten.

And maybe that’s what you need to hear today too.

God has not forgotten you.

Your name is etched into Him.

He is tracking every detail, every tear, every moment you wonder if He’ll come through.

Hold on. Heaven knows your name.

🛐 Prayer

Lord, thank You for seeing me. For loving me even in the quiet moments when no one else seems to notice. Heal my heart from discouragement, and remind me that I’m not forgotten. I’m held, remembered, and cherished. In Jesus’ name, amen.

📖 Scripture to Carry

“Can a woman forget her nursing child…? Even if she forgets, I will not forget you. See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands.”
