Don’t Stay Busy on the Campus—Take Your Seat

📌 Take Your Place

I recently had a dream about being on a school campus. I was there every day—busy, engaged, interacting, doing what I believed was right. Yet suddenly it dawned on me that I had never actually gone into class. I was shocked to realize I didn’t even know where my classes were.

That dream carries a gentle but important message.

It’s possible to be faithful, sincere, and active—and still miss the place where instruction, alignment, and positioning happen. Busyness can feel productive, and it does make me feel better, but it is not the same thing as being seated where God is teaching.

🔻The Lord is calling many believers right now to stop hovering around their assignment and intentionally step into it.

This is not a season to drift.
It’s a season to locate your seat.

Alongside that dream came another moment of clarity. There was a sudden fear attached to age—specifically the number seventy. Not because of weakness or decline, but because of what culture says happens when someone reaches that number. The Lord made it clear: that thought system must be rejected immediately.

Longevity is God’s idea.
Strength is God’s promise.
Purpose does not expire.

Scripture tells us that the path of the righteous shines brighter and brighter. There is no expiration date on obedience, usefulness, or calling.

Another image followed—one where a shortcut led near a dangerous edge. The danger wasn’t the terrain; it was the assumption of weakness. That mindset does not come from God. We must refuse to agree with labels that diminish what God has declared strong.

Here is the encouragement I want to leave you with:

Don’t confuse motion with alignment.
Don’t negotiate your identity with fear.
Don’t let culture define your strength.
And don’t delay taking your seat when God is ready to teach you something new.

Ask the Lord where your classroom is in this season.
Choose positioning over pressure.
Reject every narrative that limits your future.

God is faithful to complete what He has begun.
And the days ahead are not fewer — they are focused.
