You see, God designed us to speak life, not defeat. Your words are not just sounds, they are seeds. Every time you open your mouth, your body listens, your cells respond, and your future begins to take shape. The Bible says, life and death are in the power of the tongue. That means the moment you start speaking faith, your body starts healing, your strength starts returning, and your life begins to align with the word of God. So today, we’re not going to to beg our bodies to change, we’re going to command them. Speak with authority, speak with faith and say it out loud, my body listen to my words. The creative power of words is one of the most overlooked truths in the life of a believer. From the very beginning of creation, God demonstrated the power of the spoken word. He didn’t build the universe with his hands. He spoke it into existence. And God said, let there be light and there was light. Those words carried creative force, they carried life. And because we were made in his image, that same creative power was placed within us. When we speak, our words go out into the atmosphere carrying either life or death, blessing or curse. Your body hears your words. It responds to them. Your mind records them. Your spirit aligns with them. You are the prophet of your own body, what you declare continually becomes the reality your body begins to obey.
So many people walk through life unaware that every word they speak becomes a command to their body. When you wake up and say, I feel tired, your body hears that and agrees. When you say, I’m always sick, your body takes that as instruction. When you say, I can’t do this, your strength begins to fade because your body listens to your words. But when you turn that around and begin to speak faith, I am strong in the Lord and in the power of his might, my youth is renewed like the eagles, by his stripes, I am healed, something begins to change on the inside. Your cells, your organs, your mind start to respond to the authority of faithfilled words.
It’s not about positive thinking, it’s about spiritual law. The kingdom of God operates through words. Everything God does is accomplished through his word, and that word is designed to produce after its kind. That means when you speak words of health, healing starts to manifest. When you speak words of peace, your body and emotions begin to calm. Your body doesn’t argue with your words, it follows them.
